The Whale Museum in Friday Harbor is what the Louvre is to Paris or the Smithsonian to the Nation's capitol, except that instead of killer paintings and sculptures, the Whale Museum in Friday Harbor has killer whales and orcas. Plus, they all have gift shops. You can visit the Whale Museum away from Friday Harbor at the Whale Museum website here, or in Friday Harbor by walking one block up Spring Street and turning right on First Street, then up a block. I'd give you the address, but it doesn't seem to be on their fancy-schmancy website.
